Well Guy's I have just had a very bad day Gambling online. Most of the day was betting on horse races in the U.K. Lost quite a lot of money laying horses, thats betting that a horse will lose. The problem was that I was placing the bets online though a PDA when I was at a meeting so my attention was not 100% which meant my stop loss was busted by 20% before I noticed, not a very clever thing to do.
My PDA only has a 3.5 inch screen which doesn't help matters and I was using a progressive staking plan, this is where loses can very quickly mount up.
So my message to all you gamblers out there is learn from my mistakes and don't try and do 2 things at once especially when its gambling. But never mind at least the meeting went well.

A Losing gambling day
A losing run will happen to the best of us, so there must be a plan in place to cut your losses and live to bet another day.
Always have a maximum amount that you can afford to lose in any one day and type this out on a sheet of A4 paper in the biggest font you can print so it fills the page also in bold helps get the message across and blue tack it in front of your computer when you are gambling online. This acts as a powerful reminder when to stop.
Also when you have stopped it is because your luck has turned against you so do not bet the next day have a rest go out and try not to think about betting. This will clear your head for your return. think positively its only the normal turn of events and it will turn around again.

Online Gambling Make it Legal
How to get Online Gambling legalized in the USA by JACK REIDER
For many people the several hours drive to the nearest casino just is not realistic because of their busy lives, in California last week a man was arrested for locking his kids in the car while he went into a casino to gamble, but he would have been able to sit at home and watch his kids if he could have logged into an online casino.
But the law is reversible. Now is the time when politicians who have been eyeing the ultimate seat of power will start declaring their intention on running in the next presidential election.
This is where the American people have the power. Now is the time to start protesting the Unlawful gambling act.
Thru protest at the candidate?s rallies you will tell them this is an issue that is not going away. The issue of online gambling managed to get the American people to put the Democrats into power in congress, and now it can do the same for the highest political office in the United States.
When ever a presidential hopeful is appearing in your area you should hold a rally outside where ever it is the candidate will be appearing. Try to locate the entrance and exit they will use and make sure t have people with signs and chanting slogans.
By making Online Gambling a hot issue the candidate will have to address it. If a candidate can not get votes they will not win so if they think they can win by getting the gambling vote they will take up your cause.
Besides protests, I also recommend
Letter writing campaigns: letter writing campaigns are a great tool it allows you to tell your leaders how you feel and gives them a good sense of how strong the American people feel about the subject.
Petitions: petitions are much the same as letter writing except that instead of thousands of letters the receiver of the petition only gets 1 letter with the names of all the signatures on it.
The internet is a great tool for protesting, it allows you to pass your letter or petition to people not only all over the country but the entire world, and can also help spread useful information about protest marches by being accessible to everyone with an internet connection
There are also several myspace pages dedicated to trying to get the laws changed thru protest. The Angryonlinegambler is one such page. He not only offers an online petition but also a message board for people to leave messages about gatherings, and rants about how the government is making the wrong decisions.
It is also important to highlight the benefits to legalized online gambling
Millions of dollars a year could go to the American Government from taxing American player?s winnings, and if American land based casinos were allowed to get into the action then the government could make hundreds of millions for schools, and to further the war on terrorism.
Legalized Online Gambling in the USA would create hundreds of thousand if not millions of much needed new jobs in the customer service industry in the United States and would there for benefit the government.

Online Gambling Law Change
Following the unexpected passing of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act 2006 (UIGEA) last October, and the subsequent arrests of two founders of Neteller, the online payments processor, in January 2007, the online gaming world has been in a bit of a tailspin.
So what actually happened? What does it all mean? Firstly, and most importantly, this new law does not make playing poker online illegal. Some states, most notably Washington state, have individual laws regulating online gambling, and we are not discussing those state laws here. In relation to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, it is simply a measure to restrict the transfer of money by banks to online gaming sites. Got that? It restricts banks from transferring funds to online gaming businesses. It does not in any way make playing poker illegal or make poker players criminals.
In reality though it's not that simple. After the UIGEA was passed, some poker rooms left the US market, such as Party Poker, and some stayed, such as Poker Stars. Some payment processors also left the US market, such as FirePay, and some stayed, such as Neteller. So things weren't that much different for American poker players.
Unfortunately, when the feds arrested two Neteller founders last January, everything changed. Neteller left - ran out of - the American market. Closely followed by the all the other big name processors, such as Citadel and Click2Pay. Even though those arrests were not under the new law, the UIGEA, but were in fact under the much older Wire Act of 1961. And those arrests were not related to online poker, they were sports betting related.
Strange, but true. So, it is still not illegal for American poker players to play poker over the internet. But just try funding your poker account. This is a bizarre situation when viewed from a non-American point of view. There can be no game more quintessentially American than Poker. It is the American game. Americans made it what it is; Americans made it as popular as it is; Americans love it.
So what’s going to happen now? The short answer is - no one knows. However, what is known is that as many as thirty million Americans have played poker online; up to thirteen million Americans play poker online regularly. There may not be many deposit options available at the moment, but it is fairly certain that new methods will become available soon. There are just too many Americans that want to play online poker and many of them will find a way. And with the amount of money at stake, there will be plenty of businesses that will help them to find it.

Online Laying Bets
Now this system involves using the betting exchanges to lay bets ie you want your selections to lose. It would seem easy to pick a loser but you must watch for the liabilities. You could get carried away with your success betting 5-1 horses to lose but if one wins your liabilities would be 5 times your stake. Bet £10 to lose but pay out £50 if it wins.
Tip never a lay a horse in a race unless there are 6 runners and never lay a favorite in a maiden race.

Online gambling Betting bots
To continue on the subject of Dutch betting which can only be carried out online, you will need the help of a dutching calculator to work out the stakes for each horse. It can be done manually but the prices change very quickly 10 minutes before a race and you need speed. There are free calculator packages available online that can be down loaded to your machine.
